3 Months!

Yes, Can You believe it?! I am THREE months old today!! Spring is here, birds are chirping and I am voicing my opinions louder, bobbling my head a lot less, cooing and watching the sights around me! Here are my stats:
  • I weigh in at 11 pounds 9 ounces
  • I had my first cold (currently experiencing it) "Nobody likes Mr Sniffles!"
  • I sleep my best from 9pm-3am... sometimes 4am! (Count 'em: 6 hours!)
  • I smile and laugh at most people but especially mommy and daddy
  • I eat 6-7 times a day and I eat in turbo mode, about 10 minutes total... which makes for a big mess afterwards when I spit up in all the post-eating excitement!
  • I had many visitors this month and took many trips! I saw both sets of grandparents and went to visit my crazy cousins in Atlanta!
  • I have a tendency to hold my right ear with my right hand, its a comfortable position!
  • I still have 3 distinct birth marks/freckles on my face and they are pretty (well, mom thinks so)
  • My thighs are getting chunky, soft and pretty strong. I stand on daddys lap and bobble around quite well!
  • I love to be worn in mommy's sling.
  • I talk! It is hard to explain but I answer with a coo or a kaa when I get really focused on what Dad or Mom is saying to me.
  • I'm still not liking tummy time so, no rolling over yet. I'll get there eventually... maybe I'll walk first. :)
Mommy went a little overboard during my photo shoot, here's the evidence:

(Yes, in the first picture, Ari is HOLDING the sign... Ha, she didn't really know what was going on, she just gripped the paper!)

G&G and P&B

Ari had some visitors this past week! Bill and Barb arrived on Thursday and Mitch and Shelley arrived for a short night stay on Saturday. We've christened them with their desired names and will be therefore calling Bill and Barb, Pops[y] and Baba respectively; and Mitch and Shelley will be Grandpa and Grammy. So, we can talk to Ari about her grandparents and how much they love her and she'll gradually learn to recognize names and faces!

We had a great time... we planted some garden goodies, watched basketball, visited and photographed, ate lots of good food... and spent quality time with people who love Ari almost as much as me and Dan!
Thanks for visiting Pops and Baba! We enjoyed having you here and hope to see you soon!

Here is Grammy with Ari... her distraught face is in reaction to her cousins, Zach and Allie who are in the bathtub to the right... they cause a lot of action and noise to Ari's current quiet disposition! Her eyes try to follow them and she gets lost in the chaos (but she likes it!)

(yes, this picture of Grandpa/Mitch is from Ari's first days in the hospital... I dont have any quality pictures of him with Ari older...We'll take some in Florida)

Spring is springing!

Our friends Nick and Jamie have visited for their spring break a few times! This year, we had a new addition and they were thrilled to meet her! God has blessed us with phenomenal weather since the winter was so stinkin' cold this year! We have not done much, which is how vacations should be! But, we got to play outside with Ari and even wash the hot-rod!

Jamie and Ari, hanging in the porch shade!

Ari's sweet smile

The boys, shining the sweet ride!

I love Ari in this ruffled purple shirt and polka-dotted pants! She's a cutie!
