Casa Nueva!!

Before: Kitchen

Before: Living Room

During: the move...It was chaotic and a bit stressful. We'll learn next time to not run out of boxes and to be cleaned up before helpers come...Praise God for the helpers!!

Our stuff...we lived in a little one-bedroom apartment, how did one truck hold all that?

Our House!! (take note of the crazy yard...there is maybe a total of one square foot of grass total...the rest is weeds!

Me 'cutting' the wall...that was tough and I'm too much of a perfectionist. Its still not perfect!

After: the lovely 'world travelers' living room. The TV stand is not permanent. We're saving for one that matches the shelves.

After: our lovely green kitchen (La Fonda Jalapeno is the correct color!). We love our fridge and appliances and I loooove to cook in there!
We're also saving for a new dining table and chairs...that little on is temporary.

After: kitchenette...with a lovely new table (Thanks to the previous owner)...I'm working on shelves for the wall...with pitchers and mugs!

Yeah, so thats it for now. We're finishing painting the downstairs tonight and we'll see if we even consider upstairs! Thanks to all who sent notes and gifts! We love our house and cannot wait for visitors!

Family Photos

Look at that sweet face!

It was confirmed that Dan and I do not want children for a few more years. Parenting is tough and we are proud of Todd and Rebecca!!  (They are very passionate, loving and tough/tender parents...I admire them!)
This picture makes me laugh...They had a few times that they were together, being parents and I'm sure that people questioned...Ha

Eaker Easter

Zach, upon finding an egg, lost interest in the twenty other eggs in the yard but it made for a fun egg-hunt in the sunshine!

A loving Mom and Dad taking interest in the exciting festivities.
(After the egg hunt, we decorated cookies and got more on our face than the cookies!!)

Allie is a peaceful, beautiful baby who seemed to enjoy the weather outside that day.  These two pictures were taken within seconds of each other. Everytime my camera would focus, it would make a beep and a little smile would curl up on Allie's face. Adorable!!

Look at that little smirk!!

Zach and His daddy and the pretty Easter tree...looking for the last few eggs!
